USA : đảng Cộng Hòa và vấn đề DÙNG SÚNG GIẾT NGƯỜI HÀNG LOẠT !

From Mike Wilson on 2022-05-29 16:18

Rubio takes aim at vaccinations instead of AR-15s

Shrugs off gun safety but fights military on COVID-19 shots. Does he know about George Washington?

Florida's U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio sprung into action this week.

Unfortunately, it had to do with the actual military, rather than the military-style weapons being wielded by civilians in mass shootings.

You don't have to be keenly observant to note that the common thread that linked this past week's horrific act of mass murder in a Texas elementary school to so many other mass shootings in America was the killer's use of a weapon designed for military use.

AR-15 rifles were designed to kill large numbers of people during combat. They fire multiple shots in quick succession, dispensing high-velocity rounds that travel nearly three times the speed of sound. Engineered for "maximum wound effect," rounds fired from these rifles are far more effective than handguns in ripping apart flesh and creating devastating wounds.

These offensive weapons of war, sold by the millions in the United States, have become the firearm of choice for America's civilian psychopaths waging private wars in their communities.

The Uvalde, Texas, killer got his AR-15 the day after his 18th birthday on May 16, and bought another on May 20. A little over a week later he used one to shoot his grandmother in the face, then drove to the local elementary school to shoot and kill 19 fourth graders and two teachers.

He's just the latest in a long line of human time bombs who have relied on AR-15-style weapons to rack up the body count.

They've been used by the killers in the following mass shootings:

- The Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa.

- The First Baptist Church in Southerland Springs, Texas.

- The Chabad of Poway Synagogue in Poway, Calif.

- The Midland-Odessa shooting spree in Texas.

- The Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, Calif.

- The Waffle House (restaurant) in Antioch, Tenn.

- Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

- The Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colo.

- The Route 19 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas.

- Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

- The King Soopers supermarket in Boulder, Colo.

- The Tops grocery store in Buffalo, N.Y.

- And now Robb Elementary School, in Uvalde, Texas.

When hunted down this week by a CNN reporter, a cornered Rubio dismissed the idea of supporting legislation to ban the sale of AR-15-style weapons.

"The truth of the matter is these people are going to commit these horrifying crimes. Whether they have to use another weapon to do it, they're going to figure out a way to do it," Rubio said.

The truth of the matter is that Rubio has received more than $3 million in donations from the National Rifle Association, which probably explains his "nothing we can do" attitude more than anything else.

The NRA is currently suing Florida for passing a state law in the wake of the Parkland massacre that restricts persons under the age of 21 from buying assault rifles.

But while Rubio seems to be content to sideline himself on the sale of military- designed weapons to civilians, he has jumped into action to take a bold stand against vaccinations for military members.

Rubio announced this past week that he is sponsoring legislation that would allow members of the five service academies to refuse being vaccinated against COVID-19 without being punished for their refusal.
