Năm 1974 TT Richard Nixon làm bậy, (vụ Watergate) đảng Cộng Hòa không dung tha, và đến tận mặt cảnh cáo hắn:
"nếu mày không từ chức, chính chúng tao sẽ luận tội và kết tội mày!"

Rốt cuộc, Nixon phải từ chức !

*** Ngày nay, đa số cử tri đảng viên Cộng Hòa đã bị đầu độc ***
bởi dối gạt "vô hạn, tuyệt đối, thâm độc" của thằng trump
... đến độ bọn đại biểu Cộng Hòa phải riu ríu nghe theo, không dám chống lại thằng đảng trưởng tướng cướp phản loạn này, vì chúng sợ cử tri bênh trump sẽ làm chúng mất ghế tại Quốc Hội !

Chính trị Mỹ đã ung thối đến tận cùng, tột cùng do công lao dối gạt "vô hạn, tuyệt đối, thâm độc" của thằng trump !

Đây là mặt trái rất thực của cái gọi là "chính trị dân chủ" Mỹ !

Thằng nào làm chủ ?

Thằng nào dám dối gạt xảo trá "vô hạn, tuyệt đối, thâm độc"
- thằng đó làm chủ hàng chục triệu cử tri Mỹ !!!

More-extreme GOP lacks the patriotism of 1974

The seven U.S. Senate Republicans who did their duty for our country on Saturday rather than cower behind a questionable legal technicality bring something else to mind:
In 1974, the GOP knew it had to neutralize President Richard Nixon, whose betrayal of office pales in comparison to Donald Trump’s, - for the good both of the party and the nation. And it did so in summary fashion without fear of retribution, knowing that the public understood the facts and the need for such action.

But in recent decades the party’s far-right fringe became its mainstream, and Republicans have been riding high on a conservative propaganda machine’s constant stream of myths, distortions, phony crises and fictional scandals while engineering a Wild West of unrestrained campaign finance activity. Now Trump, the monster the party created, will wield the terrible weapons the same party created — a cynical reliance on leading by misleading, and the rich incoming spoils of a corruption-breeding, plutocratic campaign finance environment — against those same seven honorable senators.

Perhaps more ranking Republicans now finally appreciate the corrosive dangers of abiding outrage-inducing fables and abetting an unregulated river of campaign cash. But it is far too late to avoid the consequences they invited.

Acquittal lets Trump keep stirring turmoil

By acquitting former President Donald Trump, America lost its chance to stop him. If he’d been convicted, he would never have been able to run for office again. He also would have lost all the perks other ex-presidents enjoy.
But now Trump is free to carry on his destructive, divisive, polarizing agendas. The Republican Party will rue the day they lost their chance. Trump will see to it that we are kept in constant turmoil because that is what he thrives on.

He will split the GOP. Proud Boys, QAnon and God-knows-what-other-groups will rally around him. He will continue to rule the roost controlling spineless Republicans and confusing the American public with lies.

Instead of Trump going quietly into that good night to deal with his many business problems, he will now be able to carry on for years calling out his battle cry.
